This new update is very mixed for me. In my honest opinion I always saw Cathryn as the ideal "safe" cuckold relationship for the game and in that way a perfect intro character for people to find what their into and their limits. I think there needs to be a character like that where there isn't any actual cheating involved, no drama, just a loving but still super perverted NTR relationship, and Cathryn used to be that before this update but she isn't anymore. Its especially annoying cause by doing Alice's events fully you see that she cheats on you and loves Alice's BF, but that route only unlocks the ability for you to see that, so it means that in all routes she ends up cheating on you anyway, so it's not even a  "Oh well you start fucking Alice without telling Cathryn so now you get punished", she cheats on you regardless. It just felt really nice to have at least one girl that was simple high quality NTR without any of the emotional drama that can sometimes really ruin a boner. Of course this ur guys' story but maybe in a future update you could make it so Cathryn only catches feelings for Alice's BF if you decide to start fucking Alice and neglect her. That way it would make more sense. It was a real shame to see all the really hot stuff in this update like prepping by blowjob and proper cleanup only for Cathryn to cheat on us in all routes. Its a shame that the only new animation is the one of her cheating too.
